Main Features of the Icare Tonometer
Revolutionary, Easy Routine
The easy-to-use Icare tonometers are highly effective in early glaucoma detection and control by making the OIP measuring routine quick, effortless and effective.
Quick and easy tonometry without drops or air with the Icare TA01i tonometer.
The Icare TA01t tonometer provides accurate and objective intra ocular pressure reading for all types of patients. It doesn’t require special training or drop, and makes IOP quick and easy.
The original Icare tonometer is based on a proven measuring principle known as Rebound Technology.
A light weight probe is used to make a fast and slight contact with the cornea. The Rebound Technology eliminates corneal disruption and patient discomfort.
Safe, Painless and Hygienic Procedure
With the Icare tonometer you don’t need drops or disinfection. As a consequence, you can examine more patients in less time.
Suitable For All Patients
The disposable probe of the Icare tonometer touches the cornea slightly for a fraction of a second. The patient barely notices the touch, so it’s effective even for children and elderly patients.
