Coherent Aura Ophthalmic YAG Laser — Used
The Coherent Aura is an ophthalmic Nd:YAG photodisruptor laser designed for ophthalmic surgical procedures including posterior capsulotomy, posterior membranectomy and other procedures that require photodisruption of ocular tissue. The system uses a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser operating at 1064 nm.
The Aura delivers short laser pulses with energy that can be continuously adjusted from approximately 0.3 mJ to more than 10 mJ, with a maximum energy of 45 mJ in triple-pulse mode. The system supports single, double and triple pulses per shot, with approximately 20 microseconds between pulses.
The laser is delivered through an integrated slit-lamp system with a 16× standard magnification, Galilean stereoscopic optics and a twin-spot red aiming laser. An optional three-step magnification changer provides 12×, 16× and 28× magnification.
