A lensmeter — also called an auto lensometer or focimeter — is an essential instrument in any optometry office, ophthalmology clinic, or optical dispensary. It measures the optical power of eyeglass and contact lenses in seconds, reading sphere, cylinder, axis, and prism values with precision.

Auto lensometers take that a step further: no manual alignment, instant digital readout, UV detection, and built-in printing — all standard on modern units.
