Slit Lamps

A slit lamp — also called an ocular biomicroscope — is the central diagnostic instrument in any eye care practice. It illuminates and magnifies the anterior and posterior segments of the eye, enabling detailed examination of the cornea, lens, vitreous, and retina. From routine exams to complex anterior segment pathology, no other instrument matches its versatility.

Table-mounted slit lamps come in a range of configurations — Haag-Streit type, Zeiss type, and Type 3x designs — each suited to different clinical workflows and space requirements. Many units can be equipped with beam splitters, cameras, or imaging modules for documentation and teaching. Digital Eye Center carries one of the largest selections of used and refurbished slit lamps available, from manufacturers including Haag-Streit, Topcon, Marco, Reichert, CSO, and Lumenis. Condition varies by unit — each listing specifies whether it is used or refurbished, and every unit is verified by a certified technician before shipping.
