IOL, Biometers
An IOL biometer — also called an optical biometer — measures the key parameters needed for intraocular lens (IOL) power calculation before cataract surgery: axial length, corneal curvature, anterior chamber depth, lens thickness, and white-to-white distance. Accurate biometry is the single most important factor in achieving the target refraction after cataract surgery.
The Zeiss IOLMaster is the global gold standard in optical biometry, with over 100 million IOL power calculations performed worldwide. The Haag-Streit Lenstar and Topcon Aladdin offer comparable accuracy with additional measurement capabilities including topography integration. Digital Eye Center carries used and refurbished optical biometers from Zeiss, Haag-Streit, and Topcon across multiple generations. Condition varies by unit — each listing specifies whether it is used or refurbished, and every unit is verified by a certified technician before shipping.
All orders ship from Florida within 2–3 business days. Need help comparing IOLMaster generations or evaluating software compatibility? contact us here.
