Refurbished IOL Master 700 — ZEISS Swept-Source Optical Biometer
The refurbished IOL Master 700 from ZEISS is a swept-source OCT optical biometer for cataract and refractive surgery planning. Instead of measuring single points along the visual axis, the IOL Master 700 images the full length of the eye, so the operator can see lens tilt, unusual ocular geometry and poor fixation before the numbers go into an IOL formula. ZEISS reports that its swept-source technology penetrates about 99% of cataracts, which means fewer dense-cataract eyes that have to be sent for immersion ultrasound. This IOL Master 700 ships with an electric table and is covered by a 6-month Digital Eye Center warranty.
