Zeiss IOL Master 5.5 — Used Optical Biometer
The Zeiss IOL Master 5.5 is an optical biometer that pairs non-contact Partial Coherence Interferometry (PCI) for axial length with 6-point telecentric keratometry for corneal curvature. PCI delivers results compatible with immersion ultrasound while providing 0.01 mm resolution and no patient contact. In a single session it measures axial length (14–40 mm), corneal radii, anterior chamber depth, and white-to-white, and supports Haigis, Haigis-L, Hoffer Q, Holladay, SRK II, and SRK/T — including post-refractive-surgery calculations via Haigis-L.
The IOL Master streamlines pre-operative cataract workflow by completing every required biometric parameter in one non-contact examination. A joystick-controlled alignment system with automatic right/left eye detection keeps operation simple, and the integrated printer provides immediate printed results at the point of care.
