Haag Streit BQ 900 Slit Lamp — Used with Stereo-Variator and AT 900
This used Haag Streit BQ 900 slit lamp is the full research-grade configuration: the Galilean 5-step microscope (6.3×, 10×, 16×, 25× and 40×), the Haag-Streit Stereo-Variator beam splitter module and the AT 900 Goldmann applanation tonometer. The Haag Streit BQ 900 is the higher-magnification sibling of the BM 900, built for detailed anterior segment work and fundus examination with a contact or non-contact lens.
The Stereo-Variator is a BQ 900-specific accessory. It reduces the stereoscopic angle of the microscope from 13° to 4.5°, which keeps depth information when viewing the fundus, peripheral retina and vitreous through small pupils or in high myopia. Paired with the AT 900, this Haag Streit BQ 900 lets one workstation cover biomicroscopy, posterior pole evaluation and Goldmann IOP measurement.
