The Nidek LM-1800PD Auto Lensmeter is a premium automatic lensometer designed for modern ophthalmic dispensing and optometry practices. Featuring a Hartmann sensor with 108 simultaneous measurement points, this instrument delivers highly accurate and fast readings of sphere, cylinder, axis, prism, addition (ADD), and transmittance (visible “green” light and UV). Its special lens table mechanism extends the measurement range to include the near portion of progressive lenses without removing the lens table.
The series also offers automatic lens-type detection (single vision, bifocal, progressive), distortion-check functionality, a tiltable 5.7″ colour touch screen display, and, in the PD version (LM-1800PD), a dedicated PD slider for quick monocular pupillary distance measurement. With built-in connectivity (USB, RS-232C, optional LAN) and a thermal printer (in some models), the LM-1800PD brings a high-end, versatile workflow to optical labs, clinics, and dispensaries.
