Zeiss Visulas LSL 532s Ophthalmic YAG Laser
The ZEISS VISULAS 532s is a 532 nm ophthalmic photocoagulation laser designed for retinal laser therapy. It uses a frequency-doubled solid-state laser and delivers the treatment beam through the laser slit-lamp system, allowing the physician to visualize and precisely target the treatment area.
The system provides an adjustable treatment spot from 50 to 1,000 µm without a contact lens, with larger spot sizes possible depending on the contact lens used. The integrated laser slit lamp provides five magnification levels from 5× to 32×, while the servo-electric micromanipulator assists with precise positioning of the laser beam and slit-lamp illumination.
The VISULAS 532s uses a 532 nm green laser, with adjustable pulse durations from 10 to 2,500 ms and a maximum power of 1.5 W at the cornea. The system also incorporates a physician safety filter designed to provide protection while maintaining a true-to-color view through the slit lamp.
