Topcon KR-800PA Specifications
Corneal Mapping Function
The Corneal mapping function provides a patient’s corneal curvature radius and refraction power map. By performing corneal mapping in conjunction with the refraction measurement, it is possible to observe abnormal corneal shapes with total refraction.
The Corneal Color Mapping is easily acquired with exam data from the Refractometer/Keratometer. You don’t need to get an additional acquisition to obtain corneal color mapping data. The KR-800PA can improve your examination workflow and function as a screening device, providing additional information to help you customize patient care
Topcon’s Rotary Prism Technology for Unparalleled Accuracy
The unique* Rotary Prism Technology, exclusive to TOPCON, allows for unparalleled precision and reliability. This system measures a wider area of the retina while permitting measurements through pupils as small as 2 mm in diameter.
Easy Operation with 3D Auto Alignment
The 3D auto-alignment feature supports ease of use by maintaining XYZ alignment even during small eye movements, providing fast and precise alignment. An operator follows the alignment guidance on the monitor for initial alignment, then 3D auto alignment and measurement start automatically.
Quick and stable
- Stable and efficient examination
- Patented Rotary Prism technology ensures stable, repeatable measurements.
Corneal Shape Information
- Informative corneal color mapping
Efficient Examination
- Semi-automatic alignment with automated capture
- Color mapping data can be acquired simultaneously with the refractive data in one capture
Patient Friendly
Invisible infrared light. The Infrared Light, used by the KR-800PA for color mapping examination, measures without visible light. There is no bright light source to cause discomfort or pupil constriction during the examination.
Space Saving
- 3 in 1 (REF/KRT/Corneal Mapping)
- Compact design
The 3 in 1 feature of the KR-800PA and its compact design contribute to additional space savings for your practice. Combination REF/KRT and Corneal Color Mapping optimizes clinic workflow.
