Zeiss IOL Master 500 — Refurbished Optical Biometer
This refurbished Zeiss IOL Master 500 is a non-contact optical biometer built on partial coherence interferometry (PCI). In a single session the IOL Master 500 captures axial length (14–38 mm), corneal radii (5–10 mm), anterior chamber depth (1.5–6.5 mm) and white-to-white (8–16 mm) without touching the eye, so there is no topical anesthetic, no probe disinfection and no corneal compression error. ZEISS rates the IOL Master 500 at a cataract penetration rate above 93% and less than 60 seconds for both eyes, depending on operator experience and eye conditions. It ships on an electric table, ready to set up as a dedicated pre-operative biometry station.
