Description

The Marco B2 Slit Lamp is designed to provide a practical, efficient, and value-driven solution for everyday anterior segment examinations in clinical, optometric, and ophthalmic environments. Featuring a Galilean parallel binocular optical system, three magnification steps (10×, 16×, 25×), and integrated LED illumination, the B2 delivers reliable imaging and flexibility for routine slit-lamp exams.

With model-specific features such as a continuously variable slit width (0–14 mm), full 360° slit rotation, a self-contained headrest and baseplate, and a compact tabletop footprint (405 × 500 mm), the B2 is well-suited for both exam-lane integration and stand-alone use. Its low-voltage LED illumination system reduces heat generation and maintenance-burden of bulb changes, while the inclusion of filters (clear, red-free, neutral density, blue, yellow, pop-up diffuser) enhances diagnostic versatility (e.g., fluorescein exam, slit-beam, red-free corneal/retinal evaluation).

The patient fixation target is a red LED on a flexible cable, aiding stable fixation during ocular examination. The sturdy travel ranges in the X-, Y-, and Z-axes (107 mm X, 110 mm Y, 25 mm Z) and fine horizontal adjustment (12 mm) support precise positioning of the microscope relative to the patient.

The B2 model emphasizes “exam-lane ready” status — easy integration with accessory modules (imaging adaptors, digital cameras, tonometers) and efficient workflow without sacrificing essential optical performance. In short, the Marco B2 LED Slit Lamp offers clinicians a robust, dependable biomicroscope platform with modern illumination and a classic optical design to meet the daily demands of a busy eye-care practice.
