Description
The Topcon SL-D2 Digital-Ready Slit Lamp is a versatile anterior-segment biomicroscope designed for both clinical examination and digital imaging documentation. With three magnification settings, Galilean optics, a high-quality illumination system, and compatibility with optional digital camera attachments (such as Topcon’s DC-3/DC-4 series), the SL-D2 offers excellent clarity, depth of field, and ergonomic ease of use in an ophthalmic practice or hospital environment. Its compact footprint and optional table- or unit-mount configurations make it suited for a variety of clinic workflows and space constraints.

Ergonomics

LED Illumination
As a leader in ophthalmic instrumentation, Topcon recommends LED illumination in many of its Slit Lamp models. The lifetime of an LED is substantially longer than that of conventional halogen bulbs. LEDs don’t need frequent replacement, making Topcon Slit Lamps environmentally sound.
